Hi, I’m Sarah Spring.
I am a Program Manager, Art Director, and Graphic Artist specializing in illustration and digital painting.

Program Manager | Art Director | Graphic Artist | Illustrator | 2D Game Asset Designer
Strategic and results-driven Program Manager with a strong track record of leading teams, expanding services, and elevating compliance and project performance within non-profit organizations. Skilled in managing complex workloads with multiple deadlines, I excel in fast-paced environments that require sound judgment and proactive problem-solving. I am known for operating effectively both independently and in collaborative settings, and bring exceptional organization, accuracy, and follow-through to every project I support.
Graduating from the Academy of Art University San Francisco with a degree in Illustration, much of my coursework had an emphasis on 2D gaming assets and character design. I am also enrolled in a Japanese language school and am working towards the JLPT N3.
SARAH SPRING is based in Northern California. Sarah is known for her saturated colors and strikingly odd subject matter. She works primarily in digital mediums; the intersection between traditional art and digital painting inspires her. She has been creating art all of her life and enjoys the challenge of working with diverse media.
Since 2005, Sarah has taught visual arts classes to K-8th grade students at several local grade schools, as well as been awarded several Arts in Schools grants to teach drawing and painting. Sarah has been Director for three summer arts camps, serving nearly 150 children annually since 2008.
In 2020, she began writing and illustrating storybooks and epistolary novels. Different cultural mythologies and anomalous concepts inspire Sarah. She persistently creates art in forms that captivate and enchant people who may not seek out traditional fine art. Her favorite ongoing project is Mythic Mail, a series of fully illustrated letters featuring mythical creatures and storytelling in the form of monthly snail mail.
